The outcome is sort of the same if those kilograms break rules in front of a 2 ton brick obeying laws.

Yeah, Lemmy is pretty small. Even I miss the massive subreddits or moreso the small niche ones.

I will point out that Reddit is roughly 20 years old and that audience took time to grow. I don't really want Lemmy to grow that much because it does bring the riffraff that plaged reddit, but it is pretty lonely out here in the corner of the internet. I do find myself refreshing apps hoping for new content quite often.

Just searched my car and "for sale" and browsed what popped up.

Just looked up my car on used car sites. Someone is selling the same make and model as mine for $200 less than I paid back in 2007.

In the back of my head there's a voice telling me if I could sell mine for what I bought and it'd be like a free car all these years, usual maintenance stuff excluded. That's be a kick-ass deal! But then I'd be out an extremely reliable car.

Absolutely nowhere in the article was that mentioned or credited to the decreases. Road design, police/camera enforcement, and ebike/scooter speed caps were.

has been the best and most productive in the history of communication between the leaders.

Maybe I'm just a skeptic, but I don't believe for a second that was Zelenskyy. Perhaps he was, um, encouraged to say talking points or part of the deal was to flatter Donny Dumbass. Maybe in a use-this-secret-phrase-to-kiss-my-ass-and-i'll-help kind of deal.

Glad Zelenskyy has support again though.

I used to think that too, but it's day 144 and still no tomatoes!

(Referencing a meme for those who are confused)

Along the same lines are all the parks in my city that cut down large trees to plant small ornamental trees. Oh, want a bench? Nowhere near the trees. Yeah, I'm talking about you, Shoreline park! WTheck

That's the route I took too. NAS for storage and simple docker containers, Minipc for compute/GPU.

I just got a cheap minipc to tinker with and it had windows 11. Not bad and unexpected.

First thing I did was wipe and install Ubuntu of course because that's what I wanted.

Most Americans don't want to do this work.

Well, yeah. Excuse the generalizations, but we don't live 6 to an apartment or farm housing and ship our wages back home where the dollar goes further. We have to survive here long term and farmers don't pay COL, savings, and retirement.

Americans don't do this because it's a bad deal.

First of all, thanks mods for your work. I know spam sucks and ain't easy.

I'm new to this lemmy thing, but there seem to be a few bots out there that may be able to help or ban spammers.

Could we maybe look into that and automatically suspend/ban posts that link to amazon? That would seen to put an obstical in this kickback scam going on.

Just an idea.
