It really is shocking that they could somehow get more mainstream

I agree that this may be the only real solution for the time being. I have personally been trying to submit good content to my favorite magazines to combat some of the spam, but there is a real influx of it and it's making it difficult to use the site.

The story behind why James O'Barr wrote the comic in the first place is just as tragic as the death of star Brandon Lee.

Yep, there was a time when streaming services actually became easier than piracy. That was when there was basically just Netflix and Hulu. If you had both of those, you had everything.

Yes, I agree with this. I've thought about this before, and Star Wars doesn't really qualify as "Science Fiction", because we never learn about the science of anything. It's just there - part of the scenery. That's the fantasy aspect; we're not thinking about realism or how things work, we are just fantasizing about a cool futuristic space setting with space magic and swords with blades made of light.

Even he was like, fuck this shit I'm out.

Feeling morally responsible for the actions of an entire nation sounds like a great way to give yourself ulcers.

But seriously, even in a "democracy", there is too much shady shit going on behind the curtain to really hold the general public accountable for all of it.
