We've had one from Ana Bath for about 12 years. No issues other than a rubber gasket needed replacing around year 10, which they sent to me at no charge. It was less than $100 on Amazon IIRC.

Nice! Thanks for the info. Looks like Costco has a bundle on sale right now too so I may give it a shot even if I end up with a more expensive shaver as well.

I like the approach Braun took with the series 5. Mine has a battery (that's held up shockingly well over a decade and a half), but you could always plug it in and continue shaving if the battery died. I'll be very disappointed if that's not still the case on newer models.

Oneblade looks interesting. I'll have to check that out. Do you dry shave with it?

They weren't cheap, but they were quality. At the cadence I shave I could usually get two years out of one before I noticed it getting dull. For comparison, the last off-brand one I tried was maybe 60% of the price, but lasted around 3 months before breaking mid-shave and coming close to tearing up my skin. So well worth it to me to buy the real deal. I'll gladly buy off-brand whenever possible, but something sharp running over my neck is where I draw the line lol.

I've had a Braun Series 5 model 8975 electric shaver for 16 years now and this thing has outlasted basically every other consumer electronic I've ever purchased. It just works. Battery still holds a charge. It's great. Sadly, Braun seems to have stopped making series 5 replacement foils and the non-OEM ones I've tried are absolute junk. I hate to give up old reliable when it still works, but sadly I think it's time look for something new. Before they stopped making replacement foils, I would have purchased another Braun in a heartbeat when this one finally gave up the ghost, but now I'm on the fence. Does anyone have recommendations for a BIFL shaver?

I use Giftster for this. It's free and you can add items from anywhere even without a link. Also let's you just take a photo of something and slap it on there.

The original Overcooked was one of the few games I've been able to get into with my wife. I wouldn't mind giving the sequel a chance. Thanks!

I've used a cheap 3D pen to weld smaller prints together. Works pretty well. You have to be quick because once the filament starts to cool it doesn't bind well. It also doesn't look that pretty, but I only use it in areas that aren't visible in the finished product. If you're planning on sanding it after I think you'd be fine.

I had a similar experience with Dishonored. I got ghost on a few missions since low chaos is more akin to my natural play style, but found it to be more enjoyable to set my own "rules" for my playthrough. It's also a game that's worth a second playthrough just to experience the opposite side of the spectrum. Super fun game any direction you choose, but you'll miss a lot of cool aspects by limiting yourself to one extreme or the other.

Have you considered a Prusa Mini? Unless you need a larger print bed, it's a great starter printer at that price point.
