No no. Don't be sorry at all.

You are an amazing developer and been super active here. We greatly appreciate it all.

And thanks for adding it to the roadmap. I wouldn't ask for anymore.

You have been very helpful.

I personally hate to keep clicking on unmute when scrolling.

I think there should be 2 options in the app.

  1. Mute videos in feed: videos are muted by default when scrolling through feeds.
  2. Mute video when full screen: when going full screen the video is muted by default.

I think if these options are off, the initial media volumes of the device is used. In my case, I set my phone to 30% volume at home be default.

However, not everyone sets the same level of volume and they may not be happy with mine.

Unless you want to add a third option of default media volumes when playing videos :)

I am unsure if it's a bug but the list of communities on the sidebar begins all sorted but then the order is mixed at the end.

Is this a bug or am I missing an option somewhere in the app?

After amending the default upvote and Downvote colours, using the compact layout, it looks like there is a bug where the small arrows do not use the new colours. Instead, they use the initial default colours originally set.

I will be adding a comments with screenshots.

Edit: just noticed that an app restart resolved this issue. So it could be a minor bug.

Yeah of course

Unfortunately the cache did not clear after 24 hours. It crept up to almost 5gb. So unsure what's going on.

That's a lot to honest.

He's done a great job. Good son.

I think you can if you do not involve it in creating something.

For example, giving it a document and asking it questions about it.

Seinfeld hands down.

You engagement with the community in building a roadmap, taking requests, and keeping us in the loop is amazing.

Even though I support open source apps, your app is amazing and I am loving it.

For me, it's always been Phoebe Judge from the podcast Criminal.

When I started, I had accounts on world, ml, and beehaw.

World seemed fine and a more general instance so stuck with it.

I have seen a lot of people complaining that it's difficult to join lemmy. Just a quick look through join lemmy and testing out a few accounts. It all does it easily.

I have tried using summit and noticed that the amount of data the app stores is high.

Currently, the app stores around 1.5 GB of data and cache on the phone.

Comparing to an app like voyager, voyager hardly crosses the 100 MB.

I have two questions:

  1. Is there a reason why summit stores such amount of data and can it be controlled within the app?
  2. Will the data stored by summit keep creeping up or does it reach a certain level and stop from increasing?

Thanks

For a more consistent look, would it be possible to slightly amend the look and feel of the app to make the upvote and downvote arrows also follow the colour of the text?

Does summit have the option of hiding the text shown in the bottom navigation bar?

Noticed this drop and would love to know the reason behind it.

Is there a way in Summit to hide or disable text post thumbnails?

Not sure if it exists or not.

I use the follow system when setting a theme. However, Thunder defaults to gray theme rather than amoled.

Would love to have the option to set a preferred dark theme so that it defaults to the amoled option instead.

Apologies, not sure if the option is available. Can we have the option of exporting voyager settings to a local file and restore it when needed?

Voyager updates have been failing lately and the only way to update it is to remove the app, download the APK, reinstall it, then amend settings again.

Voyager is an amazing app but to me it lacks one feature. A client like Thunder has this feature where you can control the zoom level by double tapping, holding, then swiping up or down an image. It's great for single handed use.

Would it be possible to implement something like that in voyager?

The ACCOUNTS title has been capitalised while every other title on other screen has the first letter in uppercase only. This only happens when choosing the android theme. Choosing the apple theme seems to be fine.

The android theme has been improved but having this capitalised makes it look jarring.
