Well that highly depends on location. I think that's illegal in most of Europe

Når det så er sagt, så ligger der også i organdonation et hensyn til sorg og de efterladte. At se sine efterladte blive holdt kunstigt i live i flere dage fordi "hvad nu hvis" kan være ret traumatisk og gøre det sværere for de efterladte at komme over tabet. Dog som jeg forstår forslaget så er det kun en reel ændring i de tilfælde hvor der ingen efterladte er, hvor det før antogs at de ikke vil donere. Hvis der er efterladte vil de altid blive spurgt først.
