No one is being price gouged by Nintendo. It’s a luxury technology device. Gaming is more for adults than kids these days, and had been for a long time. The average age of gamers has been increasing for decades and is around 30 years old.

The massive, gigantic problem with this is you’re making the assumption that party X will use legal loopholes to destroy democracy, and are using that assumption to instead destroy democracy by banning them over things you claim that they will do. You’re saying “we’re going to ban you for being antidemocratic because we think that one day you might be antidemocratic, so we’re gonna go ahead and be antidemocratic first”.

The kids went with their mother who was deported for being an illegal immigrant. They weren’t deported. Would you rather they were separated from their mother? You want the 4 year old to stay in America by themself?
