I don't know your backgrounds or motivations, but that simple a response feels flippant.

I too believe that you should obviously resist and try to counter someone who wants to stamp down the "other" just because they are the other. But simple talk probably shouldn't warrant execution, unless you want those same rules to apply against you as well. Fight them with words and actions, yes. Discredit the speaker and their ideas, embarrass them, ostracize them. Drive them and their bass-ackwards views out of polite society. I know this is difficult in the current environment. They appear to have no shame. But I think the bar for for violence has to be higher.

I wont shed any tears for this guy. I wont use his name. I want him to be forgotten. But I don't think his killing should be celebrated either.

They want pity and/or retribution for him for him, then there's a list he needs to get on. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melissa_Hortman

I agree with you in principle. It sucks a well-worded dissenting opinion is getting downvoted. I'm not an advocate for political killings. But I want to pose a counter question... When does it become acceptable to cross this line? When can an otherwise reasonable person give up on a broken system, and go from political resistance to violent resistance? Because for a lot of people, their rights, their lives, and their futures are under attack. Both politically AND with the full force of the government.

Hummed to the tune of "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes". Everytime I leave the house...

Keys, Glasses, Wallet, Phone, Wallet, Phone...

They do this occasionally, where they'll replay them over the course of a week or something. I recently read that there are also ways to play them in offline mode through mods.

My biggest problem with these type of e-bikes... There are too many clueless operators using these class 2 "bikes" and their class 3 2-wheel brethren on shared use walking/biking trails. 15-20 mph feels ok to me for bike lanes, but a fuzzy understanding of laws and safety rules plus a lack of enforcement ends up with people using these how and where they shouldn't.

just to say where I'm coming form: I communte by bike, thankfully living somewhere drivers are relatively polite and bike friendly.

Riding into oncoming traffic isn't going to convince any drivers you're in the right. it's just being stupid and unsafe. They want to raise awareness, I get it, and this driver is certainly a whiny, entitled brat. but what the cyclists are doing here is just reinforcing the driver's poorly informed opinion that bikes are the problem.

As a Bicycle commuter... there's plenty of "Am I the Asshole?" that needs to go around here.

I understand the cyclists are treating this as a protest, but unless the road is closed, get the hell out of the oncoming lane. You're not doing anything here other than confirming the drivers bias that you're the problem.

As for the driver, just fucking STOP until they pass. Is the risk of you hitting someone worth the few minutes that pulling over out of the way costs you? The driver's pissing and moaning on the video is some self-entitled bull shit.

"Damn. This is gonna be the coolest thing I've ever done, and I'm not gonna get to see it."

alternately, go classical if you can summon up the appropriate amount of rage... "To the last I grapple with thee! From hell’s heart I stab at thee, for hate’s sake I spit my last breath at thee!"

Hell yeah, classy! Especially if you hit the button on that last up note.
