Yes! Go in cold - no spoilers

Exactly, nobody is investing in their to-be seniors and dev culture.

Expecting ai-slop to make the difference is a fairy tale told to investors and board members.

I am not against any of our new devs (or myself, a longtime dev) using ai generated code but I expect them to understand it so they can fix it and build their skillsets. I tell them that renting their dev skills from a machine will do them no favors.

This made my day.

Solidifies my preference for pie over cake

It’s like you know them.

Just add screaming meows.

Oh totally.

I’m on the us west coast and the national news (think USA today, cnn, fau, etc.) is all “there is smoky weather over there or smthn, anyway here is a monkey dancing” each summer (local news is covering the smoke obviously)

BUT as soon as it started drifting eastward and reached Nyc/DC then the news lit up with it about climate change/hazardous conditions.

Funny how that happens

I absolutely cannot wait for kids to learn about “vegetative electron microscopy”

AI absolutely cannot replace teachers.

Augment possibly but replace? No.

By augment I mean provide some help at the direction of the teacher.

Feeble - that is an odd spelling of “complicit”

Every GOP congressperson/senator has the ability to stop this but they do not by choice. They are all complicit in supporting the presidents illegal actions.

“Learnings”

Yes its an old word and was repopularized by Borat of all things.

Ugh. Just say lessons or something. Leanings just sounds … wrong.

Yup, they totally kept jacking prices up to get as much as they can from the consumer.

McDonald’s execs are not featured in this video but you can bet they were not sitting idly by when others were getting “as much as the consumer can absorb” read: keep increasing prices until sales increases stall.

Nope, just no, screw them.
