Signal is trying to make its APK auto updating. This way they don’t have to wait for approval from Google to apply patches that might affect security.

You have the same options you always had. Upgrade to Windows 11, switch to Apple, switch to *nix.

I just nuked windows off my last computer and went pure Linux.

He’s autistic, that’s why he’s socially awkward. It was mentioned in one of his videos a few years ago.

If you must use windows, Notepad++ is the way to go.

I did that. Since I had everything backed up to my nextcloud, I just pulled the Debian USB out of my backpack and razed what was left. Rebuilt on the rubble.
