"Transit" app looks neat to replace Google maps for public transit and walking directions. Going to give it a try!

True, he wasn't even president until the 20th!

Missing data, or a missing prediction...since the chart is showing a difference between the two. It's possible the model for those areas had some issue. I agree it's worth questioning.

Well, you can get water out of your tap, so there's an easy alternative. Use a filter if your tap water is iffy.

Glad to see this getting some press. I got my ballot and have also helped 2 others register this year. Many people don't realize how easy it is to vote abroad!

That's the wrong conclusion. If two Democrats were on the ballot, they would likely still both lose because of first past the post voting. If you really want to support "making elections more democratic" push for ranked choice voting, or proportional representation.

In case you're asking in good faith... The downside is that non-citizens voting is simply not a problem. The number of cases is extremely low, there's nothing to "fix" here. The biggest impact of this policy would be that actual American citizens who do not have, or lost, or forgot to bring their proof of citizenship will not be able to vote. It will predominantly affect poor and marginal populations. People that don't have a passport, don't have easy access to their birth certificate, or aren't aware of the new regulation. Fewer people voting is 100% the goal with this policy.

I didn't take their comment as sarcasm, just a bit snarky...I think you're both on the same page here

I assume many of those are bots or paid trolls

50% lethality in humans, not wildlife

Amazing story. I can't believe she's only 50...not that long ago. Plenty of those dinosaurs booing her from the stands are still probably flooding facebook comment sections.
