Sure, we understand it. We're getting non-algorithmic news that isn't covered in sports or celebrity bullshit. The average American, I assure you, doesn't know anything about this stuff. Most of the people I talk to in regular life about this stuff haven't even heard of project 2025. Did you see how many people googled "did Biden drop out?" on election day?

The average person is poorly informed and dumbass stuff like -Red White And Blueland- or -turn Gaza into the Riviera of the middle east- are what they hear about, if even that. These, while horrifying, are the distractions to the real game of dictatorship and wealth transfer to the richest of the rich.

Whether you call it "flood the zone" or "firehose of bullshit" it's what they're doing and it's working very well.

4 is completely different gameplay but very good. The remaster is well done. If you play it, look for shiny things. Kill birds if you have enough ammo to spare. Finding treasure to sell was my favorite part of the game.

Hey you manage to post top quality stuff on Lemmy. What motivates you to do that? Maybe you can gamify other things in life to be like that?

I'm in no position to give advice. See my other reply in this thread.

And yeah I don't know what I'd do without my wife. I can spend ten minutes looking for something and I give up and ask her to find it. Literally seconds later she's showing me or putting the thing in my hand.

It makes me miss living in hotels traveling for work. I've got tools perfectly organized, backpack for network and PC gear, and a duffel bag for everything personal. If it's that simple I can function.

I've currently stayed up all night to play my favorite new game because an old friend is coming over to give me a tattoo this afternoon and I didn't want to go to bed and not get to play the game. So I'm just going to skip sleep. Yet I've spent like 3 hours out of 12 playing it and the rest of the time smoking and looking at my phone. To be fair Civ 7 is complex and extremely poorly documented so I'm looking a lot of things up.

I'm still going to clean house in a panic the hour before he gets here...

I believe Clarence Thomas and his wife are so corrupt that he will literally vote to end interracial marriage- including his own.

Increasing the power of the executive branch in line with Unitary Executive Theory and following the Project 2025 playbook through Elon to gut social services across the board. He will be the dictator of the country when they're done, with no regulatory agency power to stop the full fascist takeover.

All the money they saved by cutting these essential programs that literally keep people alive (in the US and around the world) and from homelessness will be sent to the rich through tax cuts. It's all very obvious, but since they're hurting nonwhite people the most, hardly anyone who voted for him sees what's happened.

Sigourney Weaver in Alien and Carrie Fisher in Star Wars were my sexual awakening when I was 12.

I personally believe that oppositional defiant disorder is so prevalent it's basically a personality type for half the US population.

Not much gets to me, but this shit is fucked up. I bet the people who work on these have horrible nightmares.

A dollar, a hundred thousand dollars, these are just rounding errors compared to $250 million.

There was that Russian submarine commander that refused to launch nukes and saved the world. That's a pretty big one.

Vasily Arkhipov to put some respect on his name.
