Can someone explain to me why people think DA:V is bad? I’m thoroughly enjoying the game, I picked it up this last month, and haven’t seen any issue with it. The only thing I can think of is the vocal minority neckbeard gamers complaining about LGBTQ+ narratives… that their character relationship decisions directly influenced their exposure to.

He won’t. He’ll just do whatever he wants and bully them into settling.

There’s another one listed here in this post about accepting federal funding for road management. Even if the state were to resist, Trump would then withhold federal funding for… everything if needed. To include road maintenance.

Limiting interstate travel, is the argument I’m hearing. The tolls are (currently) being taken at the borders into other states, is what they’re saying.

I mean, looking at global politics… propaganda campaigns against democratic nations or alliances aren’t only occurring in the US and they’re working all over. You think Brexit wasn’t a psyops campaign funded by Russia? Or how about ultra-right wing conservatives popping up in elections across the world? These are planned attacks against democracy, they’ve just been hard at work sowing the seeds to destabilize the US for decades, and those seeds are finally paying off.

This isn’t about the judicial, though.

It’s about the FTC, SEC, or other government regulators that have historically acted on behalf of the President to interpret laws when regulating the sectors under their purview. The WH and Trump are saying that they’re reigning these regulators in and requiring direct AG or President oversight. Remember when they said that* they should just gut all regulations? This is that.

The Republiklans have created a situation where they win no matter what. Think tick-tack-toe where they own three corners with two separate gaps between them and no matter which gap you block they fill the other and take the win.

If the Dems shut down the gov’t, the gov’t ceases to work, and DOGE wins anyway because that’s what they’re already doing. They blame the Dems. Then they use the failure as leverage to take more power and control away from the dysfunctional Congress, which they could do outright (because fuck the constitution) or by declaring a state of emergency. They just need an excuse to name Democrats Enemies of the State and begin rounding them up.

There isn’t a win here unless the Democrats can grab themselves by the balls, pull out some charisma, and steal the narrative while bringing light to what’s happening. We’re seeing the Republiklans destroy America in real time. They need to convince Rs in Congress, and possibly the SCOTUS, and then convince the military to back a counter-power grab to dethrone Trump and his cronies.

But, you won’t see that. That’ll be labeled a ‘coup’ by the Rs, when the Rs and Elite already are doing just that right now.

Removing the soft power influence is part of the plan to destabilize the US and democracy as a whole. He’s actively playing to the tune of the Rich and Elite, and Russia and China, enemies of democracy globally.

In a few months the USD will begin to lose its power, other nations will begin pushing their own currencies instead, and the US will take a nose dive toward THMT when the first court cases about presidential overreach and civil rights make it to the SCOTUS and they reconfirm that the President is a King.

I’m waiting for the Samual L Jackson moment of “I recognize the council has made a decision, but given that it's a stupid-ass decision, I've elected to ignore it." The whole ‘you try to enforce your decision.’ moment.

If it sends us into a civil war, that’s exactly what they want. The threat won’t mean anything when they control the government this time.

The Vice President of the United States said an openly racist, belligerently so with extremely racist online comments, shouldn’t have been canceled and should be able to keep his job at dismantling our US government systems. It blows my mind.
