People are that incompetent. Just look at some of these comments, and the comments on any thread talking about it. These people giving away their life savings will defend it with every breath. Almost cult like devotion.

Star Citizen is a scam plain and simple. It's "stolen" thousands of dollars (probably more) at this point and has nothing to show for it but a very pretty buggy mess.

Let it die. Things will die. Old members will get butthurt. New things will rise. This is the way of change. "Fragmented in 1000s of bubbles" is what the Fedverse is anyway from what I understand. Some of y'all are thinking to Reddit-y.
