To an extent this still exist, but instead of flash games its now html5 games

Ubisoft says you "cannot complain" it shut down The Crew because you never actually owned it, and you weren't "deceived" by the lack of an offline version in c/games@lemmy.world

All I want Ubisoft to do is make more Rayman games. Yet they doing things like this.
