It kinda blew my mind that dogs are more empathetic than chimps. Maybe they used autistic chimps in the thing I watched, still seems unbelievable.

TIL that Eurasian brown bear (Ursus arctos arctos) is the bearest of all bears – "ursus" means bear, and "arctos" also means bear, so the scientific name translates to "Bear bear bear" in c/science_memes@mander.xyz

I'm currently re-reading the Altered Carbon books! I liked the series, some of the ideas were actually better, but I like noticing the differences too. The cartoon spin-off was hot garbage though.
