I mean, electric bikes don't necessarily replace something that actually destroys the environment while electric cars could replace gas powered cars which would be very good for the environment

I'm currently reading American Psycho and The Two Towers. Both can be slow at times, so it's nice to be able to read one of them and when it gets boring read the other one

I'm actually thinking about doing this exact thing with my own rpi b rev2 from 2012. I'm not sure it'll even run a kbin/Lemmy instance though

We have very good public transport where I live, but it's so much easier to simply drive where you need to go instead of waiting at a bus stop for 15 minutes and then still need to walk for another 10 minutes to get where you needed to go. Yes, it's dumb and really bad for the environment, but it's easy. And more often than not, people prioritise stuff being easy rather than environmentally friendly.
