They can't help themselves from inventing ever more things that are now Putins fault.

It’s just imaginary internet points, relax.

Honest question: Then why are we having these points? If they are of no actual use, and nobody should care about them, why are they implemented? For what reason?

You know that I did not mean it like that. But you certainly chose to act like that. Do you have any worthwhile answer or insight for this topic?

Yeah. What about Asssange for example?

If you think not using deo is "revolting", then that's exactly the problem. But, it is as you say, lets stop talking about this. We won't find common ground here. It's all wrong, and there are no opinions about this. Of course.

Dude. Are you seriously suggesting that people can't be fine with farts or something?

I never thought that people THIS square would be found on Lemmy.

I give up. You are simply waaaaay to ingrained with trodden paths to be able to look left or right. You only know forwards, and any deviation feels like an insult to you. I don't have a problem with every form of conservatism, but the one that can't explain itself and simply does things because they were "always" done is dangerous.

I know that you are sure that you're progressive and shit, but you're not. You are hung up in old ways that you don't question, and hate on those who do.

By the way, I have a buddy who doesn't use deo. It's okay for me. It stinks a bit when he comes, but I forget about after a few moments, and from then on it's okay. He asked once if it is okay for me, and I replied that it is, and that I think it is cool that he does what he wants despite social pressure.

And you're suggesting that this is wrong?

That's a problematic workaround only possible with the "advanced view".

I started to use Mastodon recently. I'm sorry if I sound grumpy, but... that's a hell of an awful user interface. Basic features seem to be missing. I wanted to collect some topics I'm interested in... and you can't do that. You have to type in the hashtag of your interest every single time. You can't mix multiple hashtags for an overview. Simply put: You can't follow hashtags. That's a feature that is discussion since more than 5 years. I honestly don't get it.

Just because it might be that some people don't know: Putting the mattress on a flat surface means that moisture can only evaporate on the upper side. The ventilation beneath the mattress is a good thing to not have the mattress too moist for too long. A slatted bed (if that is the correct term in English) on some bricks is enough. It just needs some elevation, that's all.
