https://512kb.club/

The 512KB Club is a collection of performance-focused web pages from across the Internet. To qualify your website must satisfy both of the following requirements:

  1. It must be an actual site that contains a reasonable amount of information, not just a couple of links on a page (more info here).
  2. Your total UNCOMPRESSED web resources must not exceed 512KB.

https://geminiprotocol.net/ (The site's certificate has expired. I really hope they fix it.)

Gemini is a group of technologies similar to the ones that lie behind your familiar web browser. Using Gemini, you can explore an online collection of written documents which can link to other written documents. The main difference is that Gemini approaches this task with a strong philosophy of "keep it simple" and "less is enough".

Gemini might be of interest to you if you:

  • Are sick and tired of nagging newsletter subscription pop-ups, obnoxious adverts, autoplaying videos that chase you as you scroll and other misfeatures of the modern web

I encourage you to purchase a FUTO license: it's money well spent to encourage FUTO. They've really earned it.

You should stop promoting FUTO's proprietary software. It is also against community rules.

Why not feed them AI-generated calls to both earn money and poison their datasets?

Why I recommend against Brave - Luca Bramè.

This article is a pretty good breakdown of why you shouldn't use Brave.

rooted

Root is always a security risk, you really should not. (GrapheneOS comment (on Reddit) about rooting.)

out the box

None, probably. Refer to Bootloader Unlock Wall of Shame instead to check which companies do not restrict bootloader unlocking. See here for a list of devices where the bootloader can be locked with custom AVB Keys.

I posted saying I use the FUTO Keyboard as it's open source

It is not.

Even if you think that the license prohibiting commercial use makes it not open source, it certainly doesn't make it proprietary.

It does. If the license doesn't meet the OSD and the FSD, then it is proprietary, because,

“Proprietary software is another name for nonfree software.” - Categories of Free and Nonfree Software.

YDI.

uMatrix

  • No longer maintained, the last release was Sept 2019 except for a one-off patch to fix a vulnerability.
  • Everything uMatrix did can be covered by prefs or other extensions: use uBlock Origin for any content blocking.

This whole document is a bunch of outdated information, misinformation and manipulation.

The XLibre project continues this legacy with active community development.

This particular part shows the real reason why it was written. Go promote your Nazi-maintained nonsense somewhere else.
