That would definitely be an improvement, using classes is probably more robust. In my case, the project wasn't too huge and it was solo, so I never hit issues with string references.

It was honestly so fun to develop using this engine, it's so lean compared to something like Unity

Another darktable text tutorial! I know darktable has a reputation for being intimidating, but it's really powerful software and you can get a lot done with very few modules.
