This seems to be similar to what the Reticulum network is, it is a peer to peer network stack designed to work over any medium including lora, packet radio, wifi and anything else you can think of.

This sounds interesting, but how do you plan on stopping illegal content being stored on users devices? If there is any chance a user could unknowingly be hosting illegal content that could lead to some very big issues.

Thats interesting, I am using lineage as well (oneplus 6t) and do have the app com.android.devicelockcontroller. This could be some junk added when I enable the gapps magisk module which I generaly keep dissabled though.
