Both Mastodon & Bluesky suggest that you add alt text to images to improve accessibility for the visually impaired
The text is not retained

How can I add alt text to my image files, ideally when I import the files ? Tags I make with Dolphin or Digikam aren't visible except where they're made

Thought I'd ask here before I start submitting feature requests

A note about the ability to use a xbox controller would be nice
So far the only game I found that will let me use a gaming controller is tux racer

How can I make KDE respect my choices for download location
I use different browsers to do different tasks, but downloading a file/image goes where ever location I used last, ignoring what I set my browsers download location to be

I like the way kdenlive recovers from a crash
Picks up rendering & all the clips from where you left off
I wish I could close a session of partially finished stuff without bothering with projects & such

File Sorting by Last Two Chracters of File Name (lemmy.kde.social)
 

I have 20'000 mostly mp4 or webm files
I used a naming scheme that has the last two digits signifying different criteria about the video
example joe 24070, joe 24050, joe 24051
joe 24051 is a revised edit of joe 24050
The first in the series of joe is joe 100, joe 110, joe 140

As an example I would like to sort all files ending in 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59
I can't specify a set number of characters as it changes as more content is added to the end of the series Kfind will do a dandy job of searching folders & subfolders, how would I set the search criteria?
Is there some other GUI tool?

I've used KDE for more than a decade
Not just the desktop but the Ksuite of programs
Being able to setup a nice custom tool bar
Auto hide panels of a size that my decaying eyes can read
Doing update without having to troubleshoot afterwards :D
