Whatever happens, the arms companies love it

I just watched kingdom of the planet of the apes where ape guy gets captured by badguy apeking and apeking tries to convince goodape to join apeking empire like muahaha im making greatest empire ever come join. and goodape does the typical 'no i hate u' and blows everything up and shatters empire.

I watched that and was like 'omg im so done with that type of movie'. i want one where the protagonist actually has some ambition themself and responds 'omg yes id love to join empire lets conquer world!'. I am reminded of one of gengis khans greatest generals, who initially was an archer who fought against him and shot his horse in the neck. genghis captured all his enemies and was like 'who dafuq shot my horse?'. and the guy steps forward and is like 'sup. i did. now u could either kill me OR let me lead your dudes and be literally the greatest cavalry general of all time.' He then goes on to be a boss.

I NEED MOVIES LIKE THIS.

Not movies where sad ape mad at ambitious ape for conquering world so he wrecks ambitious ape's plans and returns apes of empire to their tribes. I need movie where the captured ape like 'Yes! now watch me unleash my strategic genius using your massive forces! i wasnt able to shine as some no name fisher working for a no name tribe.'

Im not in to horror movies, but i liked the first Silent Hill because it was almost this.

any suggestions plz? also i appreciate them but its hard for me to watch anything from before 2000s or anything where every main character is male.

edit: also the first Watchmen almost comes to mind where teh badguy kills billions of people then convinces the all powerful goodguy to agree with him. isnt quite it, since there are many protagonists that dont join, but its close

I remember trying really hard to learn to draw for like 10 years and just not being able to. Now I can make fun visuals :)

Yet, simultaneously, I will never get a windows 12 or let my windows 11 connect to the internet because I don't want microsoft forcing it's ai on me, eating my data, stealing my info, and controlling my system against my will for their own clearly profitbased predatory motives.

Also I have made 100s of songs without ai, and now I have some beautiful ai songs and ALSO many songs that have both ai and my own stuff. For me it's an absolutely beautiful symbiosis resulting in lovely things. But I'm not a struggling artist trying to live on streaming revenue fighting ai dilution of the market for streams and being filled with hate from it. I just make music for myself, those who i want to hear it, and because it's beautiful.

I don't use chatGPT at all cuz I think SamAltman is worthless predatory trash.

So idk. There are many ai I think are terrible and avoid. There are some ai I genuinely enjoy and selectively use. I know I wouldn't have the cool pics and songs I do without ai.

intermission

I subconsciously look down on people using ai to code who then have to ask a 'real coder' to fix the scripts; because I really know code. And yet, I have a friend who was unable to learn coding for 20 years who can now make what he always wanted because of ai coding. I think, what sets me apart from haters of ai coding, is that I value the empowerment of people and, instead of laugh at the person who doesnt really know how to code who uses ai, I am very happy for them since they can finally do what they want.

I would ideally work at an evil villain lair involved with plans to destroy all humans. But I have yet to find a job that matches my ethical criteria. So I don't work. And starve.

Idk. I think that is a large factor. But there are also other large factors. Beside that one arabic group that is like the bros of isreal, i think like all arabic ppls are against palestinian genocide. aka i think it also has to do with who the involved parties are and the relationships linked cultural groups have to them.

hmmm i got a domain cheap for first year on namecheap, but it goes up to 20$ for year two. But if i move my domain to Cloudflare, yearly renewals are 10$, which they say is 'at cost'. Is namecheap better than it seemed? Or are you paying more yearly after the first year than if you migrate them to cloudflare?

here are some pics from google. anyone who raised a kid or was a kid knows what I Spy books are. :)

I wanted to have the prompt: "A page from an I Spy book about ____" work since it would make totally epic pages and could just switch in different topics and wow. But Perchance has no idea what I Spy books are. Does anyone else's ai know what I Spy books are?
