Q. Do I need to watch any other Gundam show to understand Gundam Seed?

A. No. Gundam Seed is set in the standalone ‘Cosmic Era’ timeline, and has no other ties to any other prior piece of Gundam media.

Q. I hear that it has a new movie out, What do I need to watch before that?

A. Seed (48 episodes) and it’s sequel series Seed Destiny (50 episodes). You are now ready for Seed Freedom. Both series are free to watch on the Gundam Info channel.

Q. When is the SEED Freedom Movie releasing internationally

It’s already premiered in a lot of countries already. A limited one day premiere SEED in the USA is at the end of this month but presumably there will be a nation wide rollout In April or May.
