@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social I use KDE connect (always connected) and #LocalSend sometimes #plainapp depends on my need and mood. Does the job and reliable than link(I've used it, bad experience).

Any android open source video player app with inbuilt subtitles downloader ? in c/fdroid@lemmy.ml

For anyone who still wants to use reddit i will suggest redreader from fdroid with a vpn . in c/fdroid@lemmy.ml

@ONRYO I use #redreader and I love it. But the issue is that the contents that are 18+ or nsfw etc etc can be seen only if we use the official #reddit app. It can be news or any other needed post but no way to get it.

Pipepipe is an amazing newpipe fork(which is a youtube client) that constantly recieves updates and is stable and relaible.I didn't see much love for this app anywhere so thought i should promote it. in c/fdroid@lemmy.ml

@slsemmt @THEDAEMON I've used libretube and was very useful. But now the app won't work and I've tried to reinstall and then the phone doesn't allow me. So now I've moved to pipepie. I think the phone manufacturer doesn't like it. I'm using pixel 6a.
