Data centers is pretty much the only reason we need to build more power in Norway.

That and the fact that the poptarts that runs our government want to use land power to power the oil and gas platforms in the north sea.

The fact that the leaders in question knows damn well which countries they will be arrested in probably have something to do with it. If Netanyahu is told he will be arrested if he comes to NY there's a really good chance that he will not come to NY.

The leader of a Norwegian far left (not quite Marxist) youth party organization Rød Ungdom had to leave her position after she posted a sarcastic video about "oh no, how awful" it is that he died.

To be fair, she's an extremist cunt and the parent party Rødt (Norwegian Red Party) have probably been looking for a godd enough reason to oust her for some time now.

Never heard of him before he died. He was obviously a cunt of the highest degree. In my country he would have been a right wing extremist and probably been canceled by most serious organizations. In the USA his views are apparently so normal that he got assassinated by someone that thought he was too much of a lefty?

I don't care about him at all tbh. We get news of Americans killing each other everyday, I don't see how he is much different from all the other murder victims. Because he had a stage and a following? Apparently he hated emphaty so I'm considering dishonering him by being emphatic..

How fucked up can a nation be? I would mourn my country if I was US American. Since I'm not all I can do is shake my head aphaty and think "oh well, they'll just continue doing whatever they're doing over there"

Eh, seems like a nothing burger to me honestly. It's just normal procedure to lock it down first, then investigate and reopen when you get a request like this.

Whenever we get warnings about our customers accounts sending spam/phising we do a small investigateion, then they are locked before we contact the right manager and eventually someone contact the end user in question and we fix the problem or suspend the user.

It sucks for the user to be out of the loop for a few hours, and sometimes innocents get caught up in it, but it's really the only way to deal with it.

Are anyone surprised criminals would use Proton? I bet they get a lot of take downs all the time and ignore most of them.

Looks like he's either terrified or on coke/amf, probably a little bit of both tbh. Can't blame him, anyone so wildly under qualified for his position should be terrified. And in his position he must have access to the white house medical cabinet.

I started doing things that I want, and if others join me, thats awesome, if noone comes along I'll just go alone. I've met a lot of new people this way and it has worked wonders on my social skills.

It allows me to get a lot of new experiences without the hassle of having some miserable being tagging along. And it gives me interesting stories to tell when I meet up with my long time friends. Some of them even want to join some of my adventures.

In 5 years? Somewhere between running the country and on the streets. Hopefully I'll be somewhere close to my current situation though.

This is what I do at work (IT), I learn just enough to get by any given task then move on to the nest thing. But every time I go back to do the task I understand it a little better and usually learn something new about the subject. "Learn to program" is such a weird thing to me. It's like "learn to exercise". The goal should be more like "do 5 push ups", "run 10k" or whatever.

I use the "News" app from Nextcloud (horrible name). I doubt it's the best, but it's convenient for syncing

Yes. I have some old phones that I play with when I have time. I find that /e/ is pretty good, but I'm a little bit iffy on the company atm. So now I'm trying to build postmarketOS for my Galaxy S9, which is a fun and frustrating journey.

I do want to try Graphene, but I don't have a Pixel and really don't want to buy more phones when I have multiple that works.

Also I need certain apps for work so I can't completely rid myself of Google and Microsoft. At times I have had two phones in active use, but I find myself defaulting to work phone since I'm required to have it on me for most of the day anyway.
