I’d be interested to read more, but I’m not sure I’ve heard about “distant sea fishing” before. Can you pass the articles/links to the stories you’re referencing?

This matter is not a secret on the internet in China; there are many open discussions about it. The police in many places have taken proactive measures against this.

The content of the image is: "Note: Police from other regions are not allowed to illegally enter enterprises to investigate cases."

This Chinese article explains quite clearly: The chilling new trends in 'distant sea fishing'.

The Supreme Court has already paid great attention to this kind of phenomenon:

To prevent 'distant sea fishing' style law enforcement, the Supreme Court has taken action.

Notice from the Supreme People's Court on Upholding Strict and Fair Judicial Norms in the Trial and Enforcement of Cases Involving Enterprises

"Five prohibitions" and "eight must nots"... The State Council issued a document to strictly regulate administrative inspections related to enterprises

How to regulate enterprise-related law enforcement, prevent the rebound of issues, and boost enterprise confidence?

Addressing the prominent issues reflected by businesses with concrete actions - The State Council Information Office introduces the latest progress of the special action to standardize administrative law enforcement involving enterprises

I have to say, the effectiveness of these measures is limited. If these types of actions have decreased, it is mainly because companies have become more vigilant, making robbery more difficult.

The background of the matter transcends conflicts over gender concepts. In recent years, many local governments have been unable to cover their expenses, resulting in a phenomenon known as "distant sea fishing" (远洋捕捞), which refers to "profit-driven law enforcement," aimed at plundering money from other places. These female writers are just a tiny fraction of the victims. There are also well-known entrepreneurs who have lost their lives due to such extortion.

A Chinese guy is here. Last Friday, I was buying snacks at a convenience store near my office. When I was checking out, a lady in front of me paid with cash, and the cashier helplessly told her that she couldn't provide change, showing her the empty cash drawer. The lady couldn't make her purchase and left disappointed.

Python is suitable for beginner and is also easy to write code in different fields. I'm a developer, half of my time is writing code to get things done, and the other half is learning more development techniques, which I've been learning for over twenty years.

An open-source Resilio Sync alternative (not syncthing) that centers around the folder represented by unique hash, without any device management

There was a time when my cat owned three cardboard boxes, and whenever I wanted to take the old cardboard boxes that he had bitten through, he would chase me and meow in opposition.

Tails. It may not be designed for LTS, but it appears to be stable and secure.

We can add sexy, big breast in negative prompt to prevent this from happening 😁

In order to ensure that my account's historical data is backed up, I am worried that other relay servers will disappear or fail

I'm trying out another extremely lightweight nostr relay

I've thought of many words to describe what the factory is to me – not class, not origin, not family background, but a bloodline engraved in my body.

the story (Chinese content): 我从未告诉你我来自车辆厂
