What is popular is not always right. What is right is not always popular.

Plenty of folks in the real world still know murder is wrong, even when the murdered person has done heinous acts.

That said, I think this development was inevitable. People will only take so much inequality before taking matters into their own hands. I just hope we avoid the decent into anarchy that defined the lead up to WW1.

I was at the 24 Hours of Lemons at HPR this year and we developed a crack in our exhaust manifold at 2am. Tried to weld it using onsite power but kept tripping the breaker. Plugged the 30A MiG in to our Ecoflow and zapped away. Still had 80% juice when done.

They’ll be using Ferrari engines for 26-27:

GM's decision to throw Cadillac's hat into the ring came with the caveat that its powertrain wouldn't be ready until 2028—two years after it actually wants to enter the sport. That means for 2026 and 2027, Cadillac F1 will use customer engines from another manufacturer, in this case Ferrari. From 2028, we can expect a GM-designed V6 hybrid under Cadillac F1's engine covers.

I know it’s stupid, but it’s posts like this that make me really wish that the fediverse had gold badges to award

Using cedar 2x4s cut to 1.5x3. Planning to seal with outdoor polyurithane varnish. Any thoughts on the design thus far?

I’m curious what creative things people have done to display these? I’m up to like 20 of them and really like them. I’m thinking of putting them vertically on the wall on removable picture frames.
