Infinity allows it you just need to turn that feature on in the settings under the gestures tab

What I like about Lemmy is, that you don't need to be one of the first comments to interact with people. On Reddit you would easily be buried somewhere at the bottom but most Lemmy posts I see have a really nice comment section. People are more likely to see your comment because the posts don't have hundreds of comments but there are still enough comments to start a conversation. I also love that I can have conversations stretched over days. I don't browse Lemmy often. I don't need to feel bad when I answer something a day later.

Ich muss sagen, mich stört das Link gespame von dir auch sehr. Vor allem weil du selber nichts dazu schreibst. Einfach einen Link posten und fertig ists. Es geht ja auch darum sich über die Sachen zu unterhalten. Außerdem will ich nicht jeden Morgen eine Flut an Artikeln zum durchscrollen haben wenn ich auf Lemmy unterwegs bin, weil dafür bin ich nicht auf Lemmy.

Switched from Jerboa to Liftoff and I'm very happy with Liftoff so far. Liftoff feels very similar to the Reddit client Infinity for me. Only thing I don't like is the color scheme. It's confusing to make buttons you can click grey...

Samsung Flip 3 because it folds. I like having a compact phone. (I sometimes miss my iPhone SE)

Hab irgendwo auf Lemmy auch mal gelesen das es daran liegen kann, dass der Name schon vergeben ist aber Lemmy keine Meldung anzeigt sondern einfach nur den Ladekreisel. Weiß nicht ob das Problem noch besteht oder ob es das war aber ist vielleicht good to know

Thank you for the suggestion! I was actually thinking about picking something from Stephen King since I never really read any of his books but they seem interesting. The Eyes of the Dragon is definitely on top of my list now!

I mostly read on my ereader before I sleep. How much I read depends on how tired I am or if its getting reeeaally late. I can't really read during the day because it always feels like there is too much going on even when I don't really do anything. Reading at night feels so much niver somehow.

Ich will es eigentlich nicht unbedingt aber ich werde sehr wahrscheinlich weiterhin Reddit nutzen. Finde Lemmy auch ganz cool und will es aufjedenfall nebenbei nutzen, aber ich nutze Reddit halt sooo viel wenn ich Infos oder Meinungen zu etwas suche. Etwas teureres was ich eventuell kaufen will? Erstmal gucken was es für Erfahrungsberichte auf Reddit gibt. Irgendein technisches Problem mit einem Gerät? Eventuell hat ja jemand auf Reddit mal das gleiche Problem gehabt. Ich finde so oft Infos auf Reddit während ich nirgendswo anders das finde was ich suche. Dazu kommt auch noch das ich als Reddit Client "Infinity" nutze und der Entwickler angekündigt hat erstmal auszuprobieren die App kostenpflichtig zu machen und die App weiterhin Open Source ist wodurch man sie einfach selber kompilieren könnte mit eigenem API Key. Zu wissen das ich weiterhin den Reddit Client nutzen kann mit dem ich so vertraut bin und nicht umstellen "muss" finde ich sehr angenehm.

Since November I'm slowly working through the The Witcher books. Just finished the 5th book recently and currently looking for a book I can read before I continue with the 6th book. Normally I read mostly in german but I'm thinking about picking a english book as my next book.
