this thing is clearly trained via RL to think and solve tasks for specific reasoning benchmarks. nothing else. and it truly is a tortured model. here the model hallucinates a programming problem about dominos and attempts to solve it, spending over 30,000 tokens in the process completely unprompted, the model generated and tried to solve this domino problem over 5,000 separate times

Augmented reality for the Google Glass. Not, it turns out, for the Meta Raybans, cos they don't even have screens or projectors!

just found out these glasses are not even Augmented Reality. They have neither screens nor projectors. Just cameras, a mic, and bone conduction earphones. The interface is voice control. They are literally only for taking creepshots. So Zuckerberg is staying on-brand.

a lot of companies are chasing the humanoid form because they’ll be able to immediately adapt to existing infrastructure (to replace human workers).

that's the story, but this doesn't work, like, at all, with just a moment's thought.

if humanoid was a good shape we'd have humanoid robots already.

the reason is they're selling sci fi dreams of robot servants even though these dreams are lies.

UPDATE: Seraphinne Vallora have admitted the Vogue ad image was a photo from an ordinary modeling shoot with a bit of AI afterwards. They phrased it as bragging about their hard work, of course. https://www.instagram.com/p/DMm4KkfoYCj/

Trump apologetics doesn't really make the bar here. Hopefully you will find a sub that is more accepting of whatever your condition is.
