Mostly it's the science of how the two systems function. The nervous system is more adaptable at up/down regulating transmitters/receivers in the neural junctions which doesn't require a lot of energy. The muscular system needs to literally grow, which is somewhat even against biology. Big muscles are often not only unnecessary, they're only really made when they're forced to be made, and if you stop lifting, they'll go away. The nervous system will down-regulate too given the chance but its a faster responding system.

Some basics:

2-4 weeks for you nervous system to improve.
4-8 weeks for your muscular system to improve.
Diet for weight loss.
Lift heavy to failure. eat and sleep for big muscles.

Hasn't someone already suggested L4D2? I only played the first and was pretty offended when they promptly released the second and expected me to pay for it. They did eventually turn around and give it away but IIRC it was under a year from release and they expected me to buy a whole other game.

On mine, sometimes there's little drops of nectar on the flowers. You can lift them off with your finger and taste the sweetness.

Mushishi anime. It's slow paced but I'm sure it's building towards something.

Jonah Hex, wasn't great but don't regret it.

Bandcamp Fridays began in March of 2020 at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic when the shuttering of venues led to a loss of vital tour revenue for artists. Since then, Bandcamp Fridays—on which we waive our revenue share and pass the funds directly to artists & labels—has resulted in millions of fans paying over $120 million directly to labels and musicians they love. In addition to helping artists pay the rent, or fund album recordings and tours, Bandcamp Fridays have also become a beacon for artists and record labels looking to raise awareness for causes or raise money for charities.

And so we’re happy to announce that the next Bandcamp Friday will be on May 2, 2025 from midnight to midnight PST.

We don't get paid for it in Australia but it'll go to helping someone who needs it.

A teenager armed with a loaded shotgun has been charged after allegedly trying to force his way onto a Jetstar flight in Victoria before being overpowered by passengers.

The 17-year-old from Ballarat allegedly climbed through a hole in the security fencing at busy Avalon Airport before making his way on foot to the plane.

The teen tried to climb the front stairs into the cabin, but he was overpowered by three passengers who noticed him carrying the shotgun.

Police were called to the major airport, near Geelong, on Thursday afternoon following reports a male with a firearm had attempted to board a Jetstar flight.

The flight which was carrying about 150 people was bound for Sydney.
