first rule of english pronunciation: there are no rules. All that matters is if people understand what you mean when you say it.

I gave up on this discussion when you have to consider gin, generate, giraffe, gene, gym, etc

Also I pronounce it with the soft sound because that's what it sounds like in the bloody alphabet.

  • Battery performance took a dive after the Nothing OS 3 update (8.5-12 hours to barely 8 hours).

  • Photos seem LQ despite having two 50MP cameras

  • Noticeable green tint at low brightness settings probably due to LQ OLES displays.

  • Grievances with Nothing's update philosophy where they seem to:

    • update the (a) models first before flagship
    • not optimise performance, and
    • anecdotally make previous model's performance (camera) worse
  • Frustrated with the fact that they seem to releasing the 3a before the 3.

  • Likes the glyph system

  • still recommends for the price range but does not recommend for a "good experience"

Jogging got me into eating regularly and destressor (I visualised as which is going to win - a 5k run or my mood/frustration).

if your anger wins, you finish the 5k in record time (next time go farther). Most of the time I just finish the run feeling less stressed and more able to tackle the issue with a clear mind without the mood.

Now I actually have legit reason to feel tired and friends/family look at me as an athlete for just doing 5k. There's a lot of benefits but just make sure to go at your own pace/growth and not compare to others.

i doubt this is intentional but this is eerily close to "Dancing Through Life" from the Wicked musical

at the risk of sounding like a dick, this article has close "orphan-crushing-machine" vibes.

Our ancestors presumed we wouldn't be stupid enough to stop eating fruit and didn't bother specing into vitaman C production.

They also presumed we wouldn't sail the seas for long distances with only salted meats and booze so jokes on them 👈👈

it's gotta be the one where the professor reveals he's much older and goes to the near-death star

edit: as blueharvest said "clone of my own"

Sounds good - it's important to get those 8 hours and listening to your body (avoiding screens when you can during dark hours since that'll fuck around your circadian rhythm).

Sometimes you can get away with 6 hours in total if you haven't been overexerting yourself. I found that I slept like 9 -10 hours uninterrupted after exhaustive days but taking the naps and ensuring I have good sleep hygiene leads to me feel great with only 8 segemented sleep.

9 to 5 sucks ass.

You gotta listen to your body and take that powernap when you can (already made a previous comment about how the human body isn't built to do strict wake-sleep cycles, it's natural to have 2 separate sleeps in the same night, and historically people from early morning to noon since the sun is too harsh by then). I generally found taking a 15 minute nap after a meal is enough to get me through the rest of the day. Though it's insane that corpos expect anything more than 60% effort after 2pm when most have been up since 6am.

Take your hours back, they won't give it back to you.
