If someone just comes up to someone out of the blue and says they won't have sex with you there's nothing wrong with being angry or telling them to fuck off... I'd do the same if someone came up to me and said that and I'm not trans. The situation in the comic is not about someone's preferences, it's about people who constantly bring up their preference out of the blue for no reason other than to use it as a weapon. You've never experienced that problem, neat, good for you. A lot of trans people do.

What is wrong with that? People can dress however they like and if you don't like it you can just not look at them, not really rocket science.

Nobody deserves to be hated for how they look. But at the same time, we live in a extreamly superficial world. Quite an awful world if you ask me.

Guy... you're the one being superficial... you don't get to blame your behaviour on "the world" that's extremely pathetic. Own up to the fact that it is people like you AND you yourself that make the world superficial. Or are you too afraid to take responsibility for your own behaviour?

I can't imagine that's the main reason. You can buy a 3.5" floppy reader with a usb connection for like 20 bucks on amazon and anyone who wanted to get their hands on government secrets would not be deterred by that.

I think the simplest and most likely reason is that updating things and making changes in bureaucracies is hard on its own, and any time you start dealing with tech it's all a house of cards where one system depends on another and so changing any one thing will either make it all fall down or bring along with it massive sweeping changes.

If everything you say is a lie, then the statements 'everything you say is a lie', and 'you always tell the truth' are both lies. Which means the first statement could be that some things you say are lies and you always tell the truth is one of those lies.

It's called supply and demand. They know there is a demand for meat so they grow animals and feed those animals plants. Continuing to eat meat supports a system that consumes more plants than a system where humans only eat plants. You shouldn't need your hand held for this, it's pretty basic stuff.

I think there’s a reason these posts always end up on programmer focused places on the internet. Yes, I’m sure their job is annoying, and it would be easier to not have to solve time conversion problems, but the time conversion problems wouldn’t even go away if you forced everyone to use UTC. You’d just start having to do conversions to solar time, or looking up waking hours (which is just timezones)

Which is short sighted considering it is much easier to make a standardized library for converting time zones than it is to make a standard library reflecting what different time numbers mean in different places around the world. If they somehow convinced people to make the change, they would find out pretty quickly they were better off with the devil they knew.

Now you're on about low pay, what are you even talking about? Changing companies is the best thing for increasing salary and you're here acting like a child terrified of losing your job... have you ever even worked at a company on salary? You sound like you're talking about something you are clueless about. Stop being so afraid, go change jobs.
