My point of views is it will be used more broadly, in every services. So, even if it will be "optional",there will be no option to choose not to use it.

Note that Tidal is owned by Black rocks funds ...which make it very non-ethical platform

in comparison, the artists gets 4x more money when you listen with Qobuz :)
