Tits, self relief and death? That’s one more thing than I’m guaranteed at the moment, where do I sign up?

What came first; moths or lamps?

As far as I’m aware NO~2~ will fill a pit. In the industry I work in NO~2~ leaks are serious threat because the engines that are worked on are in, what is essentially, a cage that you walk down into. I’ve not experienced it myself but heard from someone who experienced it firsthand as you just start feeling sleepy. I know now that it’s because our bodies are sensitive to asphyxiation from CO~2~ but not NO~2~, so as it displaces the oxygen in our lungs you just start getting woozy and tired.

All that being said; I am not an expert. Half this is information from diesel mechanics who work with it and the other half is from random science videos. So take it with a grain of salt.

She looks like the reference for the captured goblin lady in Baldurs Gate 3.

No and after I realised that something was wrong I set a second alarm for a few minutes later and it seems to do the same.

You have made me realise that I haven’t tested scenarios. I just tried an alarm then normally and in sleep focus without any issue. I’m thinking I might remove all alarms and start a fresh, maybe it’s something to do with the alarm a had set before the beta?

[iPhone 15 PM] Has anyone else been having issues with alarms only sounding for a moment? I’ve caught mine a couple of times where it goes off for about a second and then stops completely. Makes waking up for work a bit sketchy!

Whilst the keys weren’t visible in the UI they could still be interacted with and worked normally.

I’ve submitted feedback.

I especially liked meme community bots. Yes they were disruptive but as long as they were fun they were fulfilling a purpose and typically contained within the community they were for.

This only appeared for a second before returning to the date but it looks like time to charge will be displayed on the Lock Screen.

Hopefully it can be set to stay in-place.

Liking it so far. Definitely needs a fair bit of polish but seems to be very stable and I’ve only come across a couple of noticeable bugs.

I have found one inter thing worth mentioning; the new ‘visited places’ feature isn’t available to me. Might not be available in Australia yet? Apple did a similar thing with other features in previous betas.

Can confirm I’m having the same issue.

Jurrasic park, the guy that played Neuman on Seinfeld.

Ah, ah, ahhh, you didn’t say the magic word!

Looks like cycle count, manufacture date and first use date are all new. I wonder if the information will be accurate for aftermarket batteries?

I have accounts on two instances and couldn’t figure out why the feed was semi-broken and running out of posts on one. Since then the second instance posted about updating to 19.0 from 18.5, after the update I’m having the same issues as I did with the first server. I’m assuming they made the shift to 19.0 earlier. Seems to work in the respective PWA’s, but not in Mlem.

I’ve logged out and back in with the first affected account without any change and cleared the app cache.

Mlem V1.1.1 iPhone 15PM iOS 17.2

I recently updated to a 15PM from a 12PM and as such am new to always on display (AoD). I’ve found that the first touch after waking from AoD on the Lock Screen registers at first and then is ignored/reversed. Is this normal behaviour that’s seen in all AoD iPhones or something related to my specific phone?

Edit: so I think I’ve found part of the issue. As the screen wakes there’s a short transition animation, if I wait for that to complete plus 1 second or so then it works as intended. If I interact mid-animation then it’ll either not register the input or cancel the input at the end of the animation.

I’ve found the touchscreen sometimes doesn’t register, especially the backspace button on the keyboard for some reason.

I’m considering putting in a report to Apple but don’t want to until I know whether it’s just me or a broader phenomenon.

After updating to V1.1 the grey fill on the vote indicator on compact comments stopped working.

It highlights a bit of an issue that I’ve had since switching to Mlem; I’d love if that upvote icon fill was colour coded the same as an up/downvote. Previously it was just grey which is ok but having it colour coded would visually function better imo.

This is on an iPhone 15PM iOS 17.0.3.

Hi Lemmings, Has anyone here self hosted a SimpleLogin instance? Would you recommend it compared to paying for their service?

I’m looking at starting a test instance of it in the future but I’m curious how well it handles multiple user accounts and multiple domains or whether I need an instance per-user or per-domain.

Is this new? Will delete if not. I recall having to go into the settings app to check on progress.
