I agree with all the advice given in this thread. I just want to add that I think you should try to avoid chatgpt (or least use it in a way it explains the problem to you without giving you the answer), as it solves trivial problems easily, and solves complex problems with bugs.

I just jumped in, start making some cool projects

That's true, it's actually nice singing.

I think my favorite is the one with Santa, mainly because I think it's a good Doctor Who episode

I actually feel like Die Hard is less of revenge kills and more a cop doing their job, if you get me right

Focus more on studies. The last semester has been an absolute bore, the topics of this semester should be much more exciting and challenging

You've got this!

Good on you! I've actually considered the same thing

Where do you reckon you can make a difference?

Skal bytte julegaver i dag, men kan ikke helt magte det🤷

She really is! I recently bought tickets for her What Happened to the Earth-tour, I'm really excited, this will be my first time hearing her live

It would be awesome with more people helping to answer questions in !lemmy_support@lemmy.ml, this is one of the first places people head with their issues. You can always just subscribe and consider helping next time you see a post from there.

Many of the questions asked here are related to the latency at lemmy.ml or other big instances. I even asked such a question myself. Having a FAQ thread pinned would be a great help.

Not sure whether that is even possible though🤔

Follow up question, is it possible to create a community on a different instance? My instance doesn't support creating communities.

If no, is it a technical limitation?

'Pending subscription'? (self.lemmy_support)

I tried subscribing to !programmerhumor@lemmy.ml, but it just says 'pending subscription'. Is there a feature where moderators have to accept your subscription? or is this simply a loading message? (Refreshing does nothing)

EDIT: Turns out it was just because the instance was overloaded. Some of the requests went through, and others I readded at a later time.
