Except that these are the law makers on the steps so if they are only functional as a protester then there are bigger problems afoot.

There was just a public discussion about which date to have the next big national action in the official Decisions place on Lemmy which is admittedly hard to find so here is a link https://50501.chat/c/Decisions@lemmy.fiftyfifty.one. The top options will now go through a ranked choice voting process.
There are also often state or local actions sometimes lead by partners or with short notice to respond to urgent events. You could organize something maybe a regular weekly event like many have done in various areas.
I am going to the Duluth partner event. Have gotten word from some folks not knowing about it which makes sense since around here indivisible is the main group folks are engaged with and this one is a separate group and there is just 1 Facebook post announcing the 50501 collab.
To me it feels like there are so many events happening it is harder to sync everyone on one big event. I think the now official day in June will give lots of time to build up momentum for a big one.
