there's such a thing called "copyright", and using countless pieces of art for free so that a couple of douchebags become gazillionnaires selling copyright infringement on said pieces of art certainly feels like theft

the difference in price would be so small you wouldn't even care

the price of your clothing is mostly supply chain "middle-men" taking their share, not the source material nor the people actuality bringing it to shape. especially with synthetic materials

if it weren't true (i.e. if the material actually cost that much), stores wouldn't literally destroy / throw away brand new clothes just to "refresh" every couple of weeks

it's been trained on art stolen from people who can draw orders of magnitude better than this

when writing somewhat low-level code, you always make assumptions about things. in this case, they chose to manage 256 entries in some array; the bound used to be lower.

but implicitly there's a tradeoff, probably memory / CPU utilisation in the server.

it's always about the tradeoff between what the users want, what is easier for you to maintain, what your infrastructure can provide, etc.

A couple of parking spots for several km of beach is reasonable, but it only works if you car is human-sized, not obese-triceratops-compliant

what an abomination,

yet cynics will still argue its better to do this than to build a parking lot near the beach

Yes, but also

  1. never forget the face of a foe

  2. wreak havoc on them when they walk by

  3. pass down this knowledge to peers and throughout generations

  4. be smart and amazing, but also dark and cool

  5. become one the METALHEAD STARTER PACK items

the list goes on, corvids are fire

jokes aside, never give in to this logical fallacy :

saying "IF you don't want me to do something in the present/future THEN you should have made a different choice in the past" is stupid and logically inconsistent; causation does not flow backwards

It would make sense to say "I am doing this to you BECAUSE it's your fault", which is logically valid but simply false in this case (could be true in other cases, think of self-defense)

this exact rhetoric is used by rapists and bullies etc. to blame you for something they chose to do

"fractal" just means "broken-looking" (as in "fracture"). see Benoît Mandelbrot's original book on this

I assume you mean "nice looking self-replicating pattern", which you can easily obtain by replacing each square by the whole picture over and over again
