Lula isn't even in good terms with Maduro anymore. There has been a diplomatic tension between Venezuela and Brazil since Dilma Rousseff was impeached. People expected the ties between countries to strenghten when Lula returned in 2023, but Maduro did not like that Lula and Celso Amorim were trying to work as some kind of international watchers for Venezuela's elections. Lula even implied that their elections was rigged, which is WAY different than his discourse for his first presidencies, when Chavez was still alive.
