I about break even. I started off with savings, but now I just use my income. It's still cheaper than renting an apartment in the center of Amsterdam though.

I checked out of my IT job of 15 years. I was throughly depressed with it all. I had a fair amount of website experience and got a few clients who pay regularly for their website and support. I sold all my crap, bought a great laptop and I travel full time now and sometimes I use trustedhousesitters in between just traveling. I've never looked back and I've been doing this for over 6.5 years... I'm 51 now.

Perhaps what I'm saying is it's never too late to follow your dream, mine was travel, yours might be something else. Just go for it.

Loved the scenery and music in this game, but you're basically a porter (delivery guy) running the errands all round the place with varying levels of difficulty. OK, but not amazing gameplay

The graph clearly says fatalities, not crashes, but whatever makes you feel comfortable, sure.

Between 80 and 95% of East Asians have a dysfunction of the ABCCII gene, which is linked to smelly pits, a number of studies say. And this means their bodies don't release the same acidic odor smell the rest of the population does when exposed to hot temperatures and perspiration.

Also causes dry earwax

Unsure if this is the right place as it regards video, but here we go.

So I just tried out Adobe Firefly, uploaded a starting image (frame) and then proceeded to add a prompt. The result was kinda good 5sec video, but I literally only got 2 tries as a freebie.

My question is, is there any website I can use which doesn't charge $10 per month to create these mini movies?

Thanks in advance

2nding the Bitwarden, absolutely love it. I moved from LastPass years ago and never looked back.

I'm currently in France, this is what I see on Google maps Gulf of Mexico (Gulf of America)

What a f*cking joke 😂

Maps.me shows the real name

As does mappy.cz

I don't want to convert it as I would lose my personal domain email and many other legacy features that I now get for free.

Hi lemmings I am self employed and travel full time.

I work remotely and have a 2TB external drive which I work from, I sync some of those files to my google drive.

Later this year I will be in several African countries and my need for a full and complete backup is weighing heavy on my mind.

What I would like from a cloud service is to backup all my files remotely and then as I work on them locally from my local external drive they are then syncd back to the cloud. This essentially gives me one local copy and one cloud copy at all times.

Currently Google cloud gives me this, but I can't expand my storage due to my legacy GAFYD account.

Obviously price is a factor, but also being able to sync my local files is most important. I've looked at BackBlaze but I'm unsure which product category I fit into and if it would work for me, but I'm willing to try.

Any and all suggestions would be most helpful, thank you!

How would we go about asking say, Cpanel / Softaculous to have a one click install for lemmy? It's currently possible with many server applications and it would be awesome to have lemmy on that list

Hi everyone I'm in the market for a new web host.

Ideally the host should have a CPanel for dns, subdomains, sql etc etc etc and the possibility for a staging site is most desirable.

Shared Linux is fine. In the past I've used namecheap and 20i.

Any tips would be great, thank you!

Newbie here. When I open the Mastodon app all the images are blurred. Tried to change that in the settings but still nada. screen shot settings
