First day back at work after two weeks off, so…. you can walk my dog? He’s pretty bored

I hope that coffee really hits the spot, because it’s not ODD, it’s just “odd”.

There is some scientific backing to this. Basically by isolating ourselves in these little bubbles of death, we stop seeing the other people as people and this removes any moral/societal blockers to descending into a pit of rage and calling for the termination of their bloodline, death by inept firing squad, etc.

Yep, I was going to say the same thing. Wise (formerly TransferWise) is a pretty big player in this space.

You get a bank account in each currency you want, and you can do transfers between currencies all within their service.

I use them to move money between USD and EUR for bills, and the service fees are reasonable.

Basically those two manufacturers made cars that were easier to steal, and then it became a thing on TikTok.

Yea, every format has sped up a ton, and unsurprisingly, bans have had to come faster too.

Nadu, Winged Wisdom was released in the summer and is already banned in the two formats it was nominally designed for (Modern and Commander).

Oh man, a decade? Yea, the power creep in the past 4-ish years has been more like a power flood, this card is playable, but far from OP

Some more egregious examples from recent memory: Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer The evoke elementals Sheoldred, the Apocalypse The One Ring

This is spot on.

I like making leather goods for friends and family. As soon as I made my first few things, my parents and (now ex) wife starting making comments about making it my side hustle, selling at fairs/farmer markets, etc.

I took a few steps down that road, but the business side of figuring out costs, meeting deadlines, etc., absolutely killed my passion for my hobby and I basically quit doing it for almost two years.

I’ve only just gotten back into it over the past few months, making some things for my friends and “charging” them something like a homemade painting or a six-pack of good beer and letting them know their wallet/purse/whatever will be done when it’s done.

I’m happy, they’re happy, and my day job continues to be my source of income, while my hobby is my escape and still feels good.

Not sure if this is a duplicate, apologies if it is, but one thing I really appreciated about Apollo was that when I blocked a subreddit, it immediately was removed from my feed, and I also was not set back to the top of /all. Not sure how annoying this would be to implement, since it would probably require refreshing the feed with the new block in place and finding the right “scroll depth” to jump back to after.

Mostly I just want all of the random porn and things in a language I don’t speak that I’ve blocked to get removed immediately (especially the porn ones, since the bots seem to spam those communities, so I’m more likely to run into a few posts in a row).

To be clear, I know I can block NSFW posts, but I don’t want to do that. I don’t mind seeing some nudes or whatever as I scroll, but when I run into a series of yiff or whatever from a niche community that I’m not into, and I block it, I don’t want to see it anymore, not have to rage scroll to get past it
