There is only one true war beyond all other wars: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emu_War

... standing army losing a war against - birds

Technique and materials have been improved, style has changed.

Other than that, it's still the same shit.

Oh!! .. Is that the assumed aspect when historic figures are pictured as anime girls?

I always assumed it's just some quirky "ignore history and put potential waifu into anime" thing...

I'm not very familiar with anime terminology, so forgive me ignorance.

Yaoi is boy love content.. right? We talk about a female version of a male historical person.

... How do those two fit together? Is it still yaoi if the referenced char is male?

... Or is this just a joke and I am too dense?

I have a more difficult question: If I'm the best man, the broom can call me that. "This is my best man, Nico"

What is the broom to me? "This is my broom" clearly doesn't work.

Hilarious how you try to make fun of "edgy bois" while being one yourself and simultaneously being wrong.

If I ever seen a self burn.

That is indeed a good perspective... I never tough about it like that.

I agree there is a hell of a lot of self awareness in this regard... Not as much gilt/remorse as one would hope though.

Overall though (and the core reason I have no problem calling him "Space Hitler"):

He is willing to kill half the universe for the greater good, but then, the key aspect to follow, the way to actually realize the safety of humanity, the Golden Path, he's too afraid for himself to do and let's his son do the hardest part. (this is also according to himself, if memory serves)

That said, all of that is personal perspective and a hell of a lot of interpretation - just clarifying why I think the comparison is from my pov fair.

I'm not sure if you're saying paul is better or worse then Hitler...

Anyway, I agree that it's a bit of a oversimplification, but keep in mind that the original source for this comparison is Paul (/rather his author) himself.
