I was so thoughtful, for like, 10 seconds, when someone first pointed that similarity out to me. I'm sure it was more cost-savings then anything else for the animators, but yeah...
I think they're saying if you were the very first person to do this, you might be concerned that others might think it a weird thing to do. After a bit, yes, totally OK but that very first time? Odd. That's my take at least.
