These days even when I'm on desktop I have a huge monitor so I typically multitask by splitting the screen in two, so portrait is still the preference for me. Obviously artistic intent and all that comes first, but in vacuum my preference is portrait.

I'd argue you are a vegan if you eat chicken for profit though, because again labels aren't religion. There's no score being kept, no penalty applied to you or your veganism because you ate chicken.
