Hey all!

Was curious if anyone here uses AlDente for their macbook, and how well it works. If so, what settings do you use? Has it made a difference in your macbook's battery health?

Thanks!

Yeah I just didnt understand how it worked yet. I made an assumption that the severs were independent, and not linked. So i made an account on lemmy.world and lemmy.ml

As for this post, I was encountering issues subscribing to communities, not instances.

I did not think enough to delete my old posts. but thankfully i didnt contribute much. I'm glad to be here :)

This is a fair point! Its probably a little bittersweet that so many are joining. I just wanted to make sure i wasnt doing anything wrong :)

Thanks for the quick response!

Hi all!

Its wonderful to be on lemmy, and so far it seems like the community is super welcoming.

I do have a silly question though, When i search for a community, i get tons of results from different servers. and it seems like i can comment on posts and interact with them. This is, until I subscribe; It seems like I can subscribe easily, without friction in lemmy.world and beehaw. However, when I subscribe to lemmy.ml, it just says subscribe pending, and im not sure why.

I feel like im missing something fundemental here.

Thank you for your time!

Small startup - Here is our process

  • Create your branch
  • Implement feature
  • Test independently of other components (with unit tests or otherwise)
  • Test directly with other componenets
  • Work with other devs to ensure stability on dev branch, make any small bug fixes directly in dev branch
  • Push to prod

Weird question are you the same person who made the Dash-to-Dock extension for gnome?

Well hello fellow lemmitor.

I think im trying trying to wrap my head around it. But it looks promising! Is there a name for individuals on lemmy? Like is there a 'Redditor' for Lemmy?

Excited to be here :)
