Have checked PineTime, and seriously considered it. But as you said, and I remember, it fell short on features. Will check Bangle.js!

Try the search function on the web while logged in, and search for "all" and "all" for "gaming". Should return the various gaming communities.

Yeah, they could have taken the high road compared to Google and Amazon, but instead were like: Hold my beer. And don't get me started on smartphones, "smart" TV's and cars... Wonderful times we're living in!

IMHO XMPP / Jabber is the best Instant Messenger (IM) protocol in c/foss@beehaw.org

Glad you asked. Check out the official XMPP site: XMPP getting started I can't remember if OMEMO encryption is a part of it, but I would recommend setting it up. Enjoy! And don't hesitate to ask if you hit some bumbs on the road!
