Foo fighter's cover of Prince's "darling nicky" comes to mind. Totally different animals, both amazing.

Every executive team hates one thing : paying labor. The entire AI sales pitch is "if you pay us, you can stop paying people."

Even if it's not possible, they all want the same management dream, no matter the industry, so they will all push towards it.

Probably have a few strokes, even.

Brandon is a next level DM, easily on par with Mercer. His voicework, improv, experience and enthusiasm for DnD is amazing. Hes been DMing for over 20 years, has run endless campaigns, and D20 has sold out venues like madison square gardens for shows. Hes got serious chops.

It will be different, it may be worse, but it may be better.

You should read Kafka's "The Castle" if you haven't. It's a surreal book about navigating an insane bureaucracy. It hit me harder than Metamorphosis, personally.

My head immediately went to tell tale heart.

Poe had lots of fucked up stories. The red death is another that stuck with me.

I would throw mud on his car every time i saw him until he paid up.

Turns out "teaching someone a lesson" can go both ways.

Based on reporting, it looks like the BLS didn't have the staff to do the legwork anymore after the purge of the federal government, so they used various models to "guesstimate" the totals for May/June.

"Saving gaza from obesity" was literally one of the pro-Israel talking points a few months ago from a UK lobbyist to justify Israel use of famine as a weapon.

Pricing seems to be 10x cheaper than lithium per kWh.

The battery has no rare earth metal in it, just common iron, which dramatically reduces cost. The 100hr storage is also 10-20x what lithium is designed for. Downsides appear to be slow charge/discharge and size of the batteries.

It is most likely a hybrid "iron air for long term storage, lithium for spikes and fluctuations" grid battery makes the most sense. These combo setups wouls likely have drastivally better long term storage and pricing then the current norm of "just Lithium."

There is more info about them in this article about another company in the space called Form energy.
