Of course they think that, because the EPA will do whatever it can to pad it's emissions ratings for the Paris Climate Accord. Carbon offsetting does not work, due to wildfire and insect risk.

Punishing individuals over corporations has me concerned. I don't think that's a good idea

No, carbon offsetting doesnt work. Only actual emission reduction

[–] revengebreaker@kbin.social 33 points 2 years ago

Nope. Net-zero emissions by 2050 is a vague sham of a goal supported by the fossil fuel industry. Big oil actually plans to INCREASE fossil fuel production and use "planting trees" and "carbon capture" to justify expansion of resource consumption.

Capitalism is built on the exploitation of others. Slavery, Homelessness, and Pollution are all side effects of a profit driven market without restrictions.

I read this as "Karen".

@CrystalEYE Cool! I hope it does. In the meantime, using blue theme with Dark Reader gives very good contrast settings. :)

Apollo seems incredibly smart. I'm sure this is the right answer. I hope july 1st is wild and we get more users

Feature Request: upvote/downvote coloring?

Came here from reddit. I can't tell if i have upvoted a post or not, as the coloring difference is very minor. This creates a frustrating experience on kbin. Can we get upvote/downvote coloring please. Not sure if i am posting in the right magazine. Thank you for reading.
