Aber wenn ich etwas suche - vor allem zu etwas nischigeren Themen, dann wird Reddit wohl noch eine ganze Weile eine meiner bevorzugten Quellen bleiben.
Tatsächlich ist mir schon vor dem kleinen Exodus wg der API-Problematik bei mir selbst aufgefallen, dass ich mittlerweile lieber selbst bei Foren wie f95 mehr poste/helfe als bei Reddit - und dabei war ich fast von Anfang an dabei (meine Frau kommt aus Illinois und hatte Reddit damals in die Ehe eingebracht, bevor das hierzulande groß irgendwer kannte).
For a lot of people, anything new means stress. So their willingness to put up with that new thing and the amount of perceived stress will almost always hinge on the potential (personal) benefits. And the benefits will initially be perceived as not very high. So the willingness to overcome the hurdle/endure stress will be pretty low.
So don't be too harsh on those people. They'll join once they perceive it as beneficial enough. ;-)
