If anyone wants to selfhost their own replacement I just spun up picsur a couple months ago and highly recommend it. Dead simple and lightweight.

I'm no where near knowledgeable enough to give any valid responses to the inquiry, I just thought I'd share why I feel like I (we?) need it. I wanted to do X for my community and I was told I need Y to do it, thus for me for this use case its necessary. That's all I was sayin.

I run a website where my community and I all contribute to a free shared database that houses settings for machines we can use. I don't know how I'd really do that without managing every single submission manually. I think that like all things there's a way to use js responsibly.
