One of my latest runs I found that Elminster isn’t really there. He’s a projection or automaton or something. When you fight him and kill him he collapses into a puddle of water.

So make sure you kill your companions in your main camp so you can watch their corpse forever. Don’t be a loser Durge and kill them in the Refectory camp.

For me turn based is great because you can chill and think about your next move. You don't have to rely on instinct. I love me some soulslike but sometimes just chilling is great.

The half ton of rothé hits on you no matter what too. Like the second conversation with him after he becomes a permanent companion he starts dropping hints in every conversation til you call him names.

Pretty much anything that dies will give you xp I think. I kill the two guys in the chairs next to shadowheart on the nautiloid because that’s 20 free xp.

Congress could impeach him and throw him out of office. Will it happen? Probably not since you would need 67 senators to vote to convict and that chamber is evenly divided at the moment. But they do have the power.
